GDH Consulting is looking for a Wireless Engineer to work in the Nashville, TN area.
The Wi-Fi/Wireless Network Consulting Engineer supports Enterprise and/or Service Provider accounts. This is a critical customer-facing role. Responsible for the delivery of Planning, Design, Implementation & Optimization Services to the Client's major accounts.
Perform architectural planning and design, as well as configuration and integration support within project delivery and ongoing consultative engagements.
Provide operational support for complex, network deployments. Identify & document design/architecture best practices for global Client Services adoption.
Solid AireOS and Cisco 9800 IOS-XE deployment and optimization. Hands on experience on Cisco Wireless platform/devices/hardware a must with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Strong DNAC skills and able to provide customer templates for specific user requirements
Understanding of automation, APIs and some exposure to Python/Script development a plus.
Participate in or lead complex network design, performance engineering or problem resolution projects.
Assist in development of business and technical requirement
Assist in the development of high-level and low-level design activities
Assist in the development of network implementation planning
Assist in configuration and connectivity activities, including test planning and cutover activities
Recommends and initiates projects to benefit customers and CX wide objectives
Accountable to highest levels of senior management to ensure project commitments and CX deliverables are met
CCIE (Wireless) strongly preferred. Industry Wi-Fi/Wireless knowledge needed
Excellent written and verbal communication a MUST
