Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting a Water Resources Engineer with 3-5 years of experience. Expected Responsibilities would include conducting field investigations, performing engineering calculations, hydrologic and hydraulic computer modeling, assisting in analysis and design studies, training and guidance of junior engineers, and producing written and oral reports.
Skills / Qualifications
Candidates will hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering; ideally, the degree will be earned in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering. Master of Science and Professional Engineer qualification preferred. 3-5 year experience in the following knowledge sets.
- HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM, PCSWMM, XPSWMM, InfoSWMM, ICPR, SRH-2D, and/ or other hydrologic and hydraulic 1D/ 2D modeling suites
- Technical writing and communication skills
- GIS Analyses
- Statistical Analyses
- Stormwater Modeling
