Working under the guidance of the Assistant Manager, the Euclid Warehouse Lead will coach and lead a team of warehouse employees to work efficiently and effectively in various warehouse and shipping functions.

-Acts as an extension of the supervisors.

-Helps to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

-Back up warehouse supervisors and other leads.

-Help management staff in enforcing safety and work standards.

-Leads and motivates a team of distribution professionals.

-Ensures the work area is safe and staff in the area is working safely.

-Ensures SOP'S and SWI's are followed to ensure work is completed in an effect manner of high quality.

-Coaches employees in assigned work area.

-Works with management staff to implement initiatives.

-Balances priorities and staff within assigned department.

-Fills in for supervisors and other leads when required.

-Fills in for equipment operators when required

-Makes recommendations for process improvements.

-Positive attitude.

-Effective verbal communication skills.

-Exercises good judgement and shows initiative.

-Ability and willingness to train and lead others.

-Ability to plan ahead to ensure continued operations.

-5+ years in warehousing, distribution, or light manufacturing.

-Proven leadership ability.

-Familiarity with required equipment (forklift, powered pallet jack, stretch wrap machines).

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

-Ability to stay on feet all day.

-Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time (on equipment)
