Location/Division Specific Information

The role will be based at our Fair Lawn, NJ site.

A day in the life:

• Checks incoming and/or outgoing merchandise, verifying quantities, correctness of materials, etc.
• Enters shipping and receiving data in the computer as required.
• Performs general warehouse duties as directed such as arranging stock and taking cycle counts.
• Uses manual and automatic materials handling equipment as required in handling merchandise in connection with the employee's work (including loading and unloading of trucks).
• Unpacks, packs or repacks merchandise as required.
• Responsible for working safely and is expected to do all possible to minimize downtime and materials losses.
• Keeps work area clean.
• Must be responsible for condition and orderly storage of materials both bulk and orders ready for shipment.
• Will perform all other duties as may apply to the existing job description.

Keys to Success:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience operating powered material handling equipment is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Effective verbal and written communication skills including detail orientation and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required
