RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a top financial firm located in Dallas, TX that is in search for a VP Level Scrum Lead. This is a hybrid/full time position that can sit out of New York. Please note that this is a hands-on leadership position. The VP Level Scrum Lead is expected to lead a team as well as remain hands-on. The firm is paying top notch compensation and are planned for tremendous growth. Summary:As a member of our Software Engineering Group, the VP Level Scrum Lead will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. They will join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing, and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. As a Scrum Lead, you will be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. Best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information, and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-10+ years of combined software/application development experience
- 3+ years of experience leading, managing, and mentoring a team of diverse sets of engineers building native mobile apps
- Familiarity with how to optimize code for phones, testing with phones, challenges with phones
- Familiarity with several languages: Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, Java, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, and Python
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to clarify application requirements via phone/email with business partners in addition to relying on technical requirements documentation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
