Cash Connect is currently seeking a Vault Reconcilement Specialist. The Vault Reconcilement Specialist will be responsible for performing all functions required to operationally support and reconcile 100+ Armored Carrier vaults within strict deadlines. The incumbent will handle vault reconcilement functions including: daily reconcilement of each assigned vault, researching and resolving variances, filing of claims, processing of vault adjustments, in-depth research and balancing of financial transactions to the database. The incumbent will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The incumbent will develop relationships with other departments, couriers and customers to resolve problems. This position requires that the incumbent independently handle daily, weekly and monthly reporting on exception vaults and escalate issues as needed. The incumbent must also be able to perform a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard vault reconcilement procedures or related financial areas. The incumbent may participate and/or coordinate projects, request, etc. and will be called upon to assist and train others.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm position, located in Newark, DE.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or 2 years of experience in a related field in a detail oriented operations environment is required.
• Experience in ATM operations, bank operations, retail banking or other banking capacity preferred.
• Practical knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures for settlement processing, as well as basic knowledge of other Cash Connect functions, and the technology that supports those business lines is required.
• Must be proficient with MS Office.
• Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described below must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Incumbent will be required to stand for intermittent periods of time.
• Incumbent may be required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
• The incumbent will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The incumbent will also be required to talk, hear, see, read and write.
• This position requires regular lifting and moving of 10-25 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Incumbent must be able to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine paperwork, use existing form letter and/or conduct routine oral communication, communicate with individuals using a telephone, hear and speak effectively on the telephone, express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word, communicate orally with others accurately and quickly, at an audible level that others can hear.
• Incumbent must also have the ability to count accurately and the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and record, balance and check results for accuracy.
