Duties and Responsibilities

You'll make an impact by:

  • Developing and enhancing systems - you will translate requirements into technical solutions, directing and reviewing design artifacts (for example, proof of concepts, prototypes). You will write and develop code; oversee software design; review unit test cases.
  • Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership
  • Building a team environment by partnering to solve problems and staying focused till there is a solution. Leads the work of cross-functional groups of ten to twenty engineers, including offshore resources. Ensures development opportunities.
  • Conducting analysis to find root cause of critical business and production issues.
  • Partnering with business partners to identify opportunities and drive resolution; short- and long-term solutions.
  • Bringing Passion to ideate, plan, and ensure business needs is at the forefront of all we do
  • Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years in project management, emerging technologies, data analytics, and reporting.
  • Two + years' experience building and managing a team of high performing software engineer.
  • Workday background is preferred.
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize.
  • Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related field OR 7 years' experience in software
engineering or related field.
2 years' supervisory experience.
