What you'll do...

Senior Content Strategist - Walmart Fulfillment Services

The Walmart US eCommerce Fulfillment Services team builds products that allow Marketplace sellers to easily provide fast, affordable delivery options to Walmart's customers. We build the tools our sellers need to send inventory to Walmart, maximize their sales and monitor the health of their business.

As a Senior Content Strategist for WFS, you'll collaborate across Product, Design and Engineering to set the vision and define the strategy for when, where and how we communicate with sellers, potentially including everything from real-time alerts to biweekly release notes or monthly newsletters. You'll use your talents of strategy and storytelling to produce intuitive, impactful comms that help the customer stay informed and guide them to take action when necessary. Working closely with your product and design partners, you'll influence language in user experiences, develop instructional articles and draft automated emails and alerts that drive sellers to take action. In presenting polished work to the wider group, you'll provide context and rationale during review. As a lifelong learner, you'll proactively solicit feedback from stakeholders and develop a keen sensibility of how and when to incorporate changes to the copy. Ultimately, you'll transform complex information into best-in-class communications, keeping the seller's needs top of mind.

You'll sweep us off our feet if:

  • You have 3+ years in UX content strategy working with product copy, preferably with some transactional comms experience.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of working cross-functionally, being data driven and being a team player.
  • You obsess over your customers and understand innately what 'less is more' means to the user.
  • You have a keen eye for editing and revising; when requirements change or business needs pivot, you're not afraid to tear the copy down and rebuild it.
  • You have a passion for content strategy, enthusiasm for spreading the word and a desire to make a positive impact on the org's culture.
  • You're organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You're stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Creating the content strategy - Developing the vision for how WFS communicates with our sellers and then delivery seller-centric, on-brand UX language, emails and other comms.
  • Driving end to end ownership - Working across multiple product domains to align every tool or experience with the content strategy while thinking holistically through the ecosystem of use cases.
  • Working cross-functionally and across multiple locations - Communication, collaboration, and organization are key to your success. Work with cross-functional teams to translate the content strategy into the product and program roadmaps.
  • Moving fast - Work in an agile and iterative team environment.
