What you'll do...
Manages the annual operating plan, which includes strategic planning, financial forecasting, and establishing performance and cost-cutting targets for the local facility.
Manages profit and loss reports for each assigned business area within the facility by analyzing financial data, comparing it to third-party information, budgets, or actual results, conducting and reviewing research on profit and loss account variances, discussing business impacts on profit and loss within accounting rules, ensuring audits are managed on a timely and accurate basis, and facilitating the relationship between team, internal customers, and external specialists.
Manages the implementation of internal controls at the local facility in order to minimize potential risks and exposures by consulting business process owners on how to identify, document, and remediate potential risks and exposures; and providing training on controls and processes. Validates the operation's losses and savings contributions and prioritizes work based on business impact. Collaborates with the process team on the facility's overall loss analysis and profile.
Budgets and prioritizes the facility's capital expenditures. Partners with Maintenance leadership to ensure budget adherence and prioritization. Monitors the facility's performance in relation to its capital investments. Oversees the inventory control function's activities within the facility, including target setting, cycle count management, auditing, and compliance. Calculates the return on investment for the facility and network replicated projects by identifying network savings opportunities.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
