What You Will Be Doing - Assume the responsibility for coordination material deliveries and Owner supplied
equipment/materials to assure products arrive on site in sufficient quantity and without damage.
- Develop and implement site planning, logistics and procedures for the execution of the projects.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures.
- Ensure the work performed complies with all requirements of the contract documents and specifications.
- Complete and distribute daily reports and meeting minutes for each project that you are responsible for.
- Be responsible for the job site safety by walking jobs multiple times a day and enforcing all job safety procedures.
- Develop and implement work schedules identifying the critical path including the expediting of scheduled materials and equipment for their timely delivery to site.
- Coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, direct labor and material.
- Enforce a comprehensive project safety & security program in accordance with all applicable safety codes and regulations.
- Coordinate, as required, the activities of inspections agencies.
- Handle job labor relations.
What You Need for this Position - High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
- 5+ Years of General Contractor experience with related project experience in tenant improvement and renovation projects.
- 5 years' minimum supervisory experience as a Superintendent within Commercial Construction
- Working knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to run work and lead on tenant improvement projects
- Commendable Safety Record (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred)
- Proficient computer knowledge including using programs such as MS Project, MS Office, and Dropbox, Procore is a plus
