Summary:



All Mechanics are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of various crane equipment including mobile cranes (All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Crawler Cranes, Boom Trucks, etc.). Must have experience as a mechanic with electrical and hydraulics (heavy equipment and cranes are preferred).



Preferred Qualifications:



History of working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT and TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc, Liebherr, Terex. Must possess solid fundamental electrical and mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working at height.





Core Competencies


* Supervise Assembly, Climbing, and/or Dismantlement
* Diagnose and Repair electric tower cranes/hoists
* Understand and strictly adhere to safety and quality guidelines without deviation
* Minimum 5 years crane or related diesel engine and or construction related mechanical experience
* Extensive knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems associated with cranes and other construction equipment
* Be highly motivated and thrive in productive environments with a high level of safety compliance
* Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with operators and other mechanics
* Acceptable driving record
* Ability to lift 50 lbs
* Ability to work full time, Monday-Friday 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, extra hours as needed.
