Our client is seeking a Tier II Support Technician in Johns Creek, GA.

Role Description

The Support Technician will work as part of a Support Team and make a significant contribution in continuously improving and ensuring long-term security for various clients. The Support Technician will also be responsible for assisting with the collaboration of support of reactive support requests that cannot be resolved by junior analysts.
• Secure client sensitive data and critical assets from current and emerging threats
• Collaborate with Enterprise Technology to configure and integrate cybersecurity systems that mitigate risk
• Communicate effectively and courteously with clients
• Document all changes to client configuration
• Be a leader and mentor to junior analysts
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a Tier 2 support role, supporting multiple customers
• 5+ years of experience in IT Security (threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, identity and access management systems)
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring various operating systems (Windows, macOS, and Linux)
• Advanced understanding of networking protocols and technologies with configurating infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Proficiency supporting Active Directory and LDAP user authentication and access control
• Cloud and Virtualization familiarit.
• Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Azure Admin, or relevant certs preferred
• Bachelors degree HIGHLY preferred.
