About the Role:

Most qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field and 5+ years of applicable industrial sales experience, ideally in motors. Experience with pumps, compressors, fans, and material handling applications is desired. Candidates should have ability to build long-term relationships and communicate with people at all levels. This person needs to be located within the territory - NY area codes 315, 518 or 607. Travel will be required throughout the territory.

We are looking for someone to establish profitable growth, develop a market penetration for WEG products in assigned territory, including building the customer base via new business development. Candidate will also be responsible to grow our current market share at existing customers.

Experience/Key Competencies:

  • Experience calling on distributors and technical OEMs and proposing appropriate product solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and all disciplines of an organization.
  • Experience and proven success in evaluating and navigating through complex commercial business situations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 60%-80% with some overnight stays required.
  • Capable of developing and implementing both short and long term growth targets.
  • Must be self-motivated and goal orientated.
  • Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Able to identify business opportunities and bring short and long term projects to completion.
  • Able to build strong relationships with different levels of management
  • Experience with CRM (i.e. Salesforce.com) systems preferred
