Job Description

Beacon Hill's client is seeking a skilled Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis throughout May and April. The ideal candidate will have previous receptionist experience and be capable of handling a fast-paced environment with professionalism and efficiency. As the Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls, transferring calls to the appropriate department or individual, and greeting guests upon their arrival. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the lobby area and ensuring it always remains presentable. This position is located out of Savage, MN.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and manage incoming calls in a courteous and timely manner.
• Transfer calls to the appropriate department or individual, ensuring accuracy in call routing.
• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the office.
• Direct visitors to the appropriate meeting or appointment location.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as sorting mail and managing appointments.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide basic information about our products or services.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding receptionist duties.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, if required.
