Location: Eugene T Mahoney State Park-Ashland, Nebraska

Schedule: 8 pm to 6 am

Examples of Work
E.T. Mahoney State Park hires a number of temporary employees to assist with its park functions. This position will focus on Overnight Office Support with Typical hours ranging from 8 PM to 6 AM, although they may be slightly adjusted to accommodate applicants.

Duties include: balance cash drawers and credit card machines, print reports for maintenance and housekeeping, Schedule and confirm reservations for cabins, lodge rooms and campgrounds for guests by phone and/or in person. Check park guests in/out of lodging and provide park information and related services to visitors by phone or in person. Sell park entry permits and resale items. Monitor desk switchboard and communicate maintenance needs to staff. Operate various office machines such as computer, copier, calculator and fax machine. Candidate may perform other temporary park duties as needed. Part-time or full-time hours are available

Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Experience in performing office/clerical support functions or records management activities.

PREFERRED: Recreational area experience is beneficial.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of: office/clerical support operations; methods of filing, record keeping, bookkeeping, and mailing. Ability to: communicate in person, and by telephone, computer, email, and correspondence with work unit supervisors and co-workers, other agency employees, and visitors to exchange information; understand and apply instructions; compute/total figures involving the use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions; determine course of action to correct inaccurate or incomplete records/documents; operate standard office equipment; learn and explain agency office/clerical support operations policies and guidelines.
