Position Information: Duties & Responsibilities

Spring/Summer/Fall

• Clean sidewalks and streets
• Filling potholes
• Picking garbage and branches
Pulling flowers
• Pulling out and replanting shrubs
• Assist with painting athletic fields
• Deadheading perennials
• Assisting preparing planters for winter
• Redoing landscapes around campus
• Weed whipping
• Mowing
• Weeding beds
• Watering
• Mulching and blowing leaves out of shrub beds
• Tree and stump removal

Winter

• Snow removal
• Deice sidewalks
• Clean sidewalks and streets
• Sand/salt sidewalks and outside steps as needed
• Shovel snow as needed
• Run various landscape/snow removal equipment

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 70 pounds frequently and without restrictions
• Be willing to be added to the on-call list for snow removal events
• Be willing to work in an outdoor environment even in inclement weather
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Successful completion of criminal history records check

Minimum Hiring Salary/Work Schedule

• Varied hours Monday to Friday between 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

• $18.00 per hour.  $250 sign on bonus once you have completed a month of employment in this position.
