Job Description

Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt

The Gill lab seeks a motivated junior researcher to support translational research in novel engineered cellular immunotherapies for solid tumors. This scientist will apply CRISPR-based editing technologies to generate engineered immune cells with antitumor function and test these functions in a variety of in vitro and in vivo assays. The successful candidate will be work and be trained under a senior scientist on technical wet bench projects including molecular biology, cell culture, and analytics including flow cytometry. Specific skills and background include at least a BS or BA with wet bench experience. The successful candidate will also have prior experience working in research teams, a high degree of professionalism/work ethic, and strong interpersonal skills.
