Who You Are

As an Technology Strategist you establish credibility from the first meeting and continue to grow the client's trust. You must bring together business and technology leaders and practitioners to frame a clear vision, a strategy to achieve it, and a road map to get there. You enjoy driving effective collaboration across disciplines, partners, client business and technology groups to achieve results. You are "multi-lingual". This means clearly communicating the vision and strategy to everyone from the CFO, the client's external partners, to an in-house full-stack developer all the while empowering each of them to make the vision real.

What You'll Do

As an Technology Strategist you will be involved in strategic planning, due-diligence exercises for the acquisition of new systems and/or companies, provide guidance on technical tool selection and usage, drive high-level technical direction for the organization, and establish and continuously review organization-wide technical governance strategies, policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience presenting and influencing to 'C-level' stakeholders
  • Developed and led technology strategy across multiple products and product lines
  • Ability to think big-picture and understand how parts interact across business lines and/or product lines
  • Awareness and have participated in the setup of one or more Centers of Excellence
  • Development of enterprise-level guidance on governance, policies, and procedures
  • Business development experience and are comfortable supporting pre-sales activities
  • Associate-level certifications from one of the top three public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, & GCP)
  • Knowledge of a broad range of areas including:
    • EA Methodologies / Frameworks
    • Business Architecture Methodologies
    • Security Program Management & Support
    • ITSM/ITIL Process Design
    • Cloud strategy, roadmap, & TCO/ROI Analysis
    • Capability modeling

Bonus
  • Experience in governance, risk, & compliance

The Details:Position located in Florida (South Florida or Tampa); Slalom operates under a local consulting model, and we treat travel as an opt-in only. It is unlikely that travel outside of your local market would be required.
