YOUR ROLE

  • The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting and managing existing pharmaceutical industry customers who use and incorporate Henkel's drug delivery polymers/adhesives in their manufacturing activities.
  • Qualification and implementation of products to customer requirements, forecast updates, maintenance of the CRM system, coordination of specification reviews, follow up of the results of samples delivered to customer, and trouble-shooting.
  • Participate in the execution of regularly updated account strategies and forecasting.
  • Provide Technical sales support and identify business potential within accounts.
  • Timely and effective communication about the account strategy execution to members of management, customers, other Henkel personnel, and any involved outside third parties.
  • Be responsible for full utilization of Henkel CRM (ACE) to manage growth opportunities and projects aligned with our account and SBU strategic initiatives, and to document and capture all customer related actions and activities.
  • Is responsible for timely and accurate administrative tasks.

YOUR SKILLS

  • BS/BA in Chemistry , Chemical Engineering or related area is required.
  • 3+ years of technical sales, laboratory or manufacturing operations experience is required.
  • Experience with polymers or in the pharmaceutical industry is desired, but not required.
  • GMP and SAP knowledge is desired, but not required.
  • Ability to travel an average of 30%
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship building skills.
