The technical project manager will provide governance over strategic new development projects and communicate progress to senior-level management. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating the digital water network that delivers clean and safe drinking water to communities across North America. Our solution portfolio includes next-generation IoT products and SaaS services to monitor, alert, and inform operators of real-time conditions within their clean water distribution network.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Manage electro-mechanical product development projects and solution delivery projects

  • Plan and execute both new product (NPD/ NPI) and value-add/value-engineering (VA/VE) projects on time, on budget, and with the correct specifications

    • Drive project schedule for design, project, information technology delivery, and acceptance

    • Manage financial, technical, go-to-market schedule to deliver quality and cost-effective results

    • Lead cross-functional teams across multiple engineering disciplines, supply chain, manufacturing, and marketing

    • The primary business unit contact for reporting project status to senior management and business owner

  • Develop Gantt schedules using MS-Project; includes the development of a WBS, resource allocations, costs, critical path generation, and project tracking

  • Develop, implement, and govern KPIs reporting for the portfolio of projects, providing visibility to the milestones and performance

  • Manage customer delivery projects for strategic customers

  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering

  • 5+ years in project management related to product development (hardware engineering, manufacturing projects, and/or SaaS)

  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting goals and objectives

  • Superior analytical, communication, and presentation skills

  • Advanced proficiency in MS office Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DFMEA and PFMEA, and other DMAIC Tools is desirable

  • Experience in manufacturing project management

  • Experience in leading customer integration projects
