Qualifications:

Education and Certifications Required: High School Degree / GED Preferred: Bachelor's degree; or Industry specific experience and/or Professional Certification such as PSP (Physical Security Professional) Experience Required: 3-5 Years of Physical or IT security and/or Compliance experience. Preferred: Physical security experience. Familiarity/experience with compliance requirements and documentation Functional / Technical Competency Requirements Required: Computer skills, strong interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents and relate to all levels of personnel. Preferred: Knowledge physical access control systems and video surveillance systems. Location: Required: located in North Canton, OH / Hudson, OH area Hybrid remote and in-office work.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical documentation writing and development services for Security & Safety department. Duties will primarily involve assisting with the development and maintenance of the compliance program for corporate security. Secondary responsibilities will be to utilize technical acumen and skills to support various projects. This person will work closely with security management, security officer force, IT and compliance team members. Use of technical knowledge to support the compliance requirements with technical writing and documentation, including items such as manuals, user guides, and standard operating procedures. This may include the addition of illustrations, pictures, and videos. Assists with the development and implementation of the security and life safety program designed to protect personnel, facilities, equipment, and assets. Assists Security Management in providing oversight and ensuring compliance with company policies, compliance requirements and mandates, by developing and executing procedures, as well as maintaining evidence with regards to security systems and equipment. Previous experience in Technical Writing Required.
