Attindas Hygiene Partners designs, manufactures, and markets absorbent hygiene products. The company sells adult incontinence and infant diapers, among other products, into the healthcare, retail, and direct-to-consumer channels under brands including Attends, Indas, and Comfees as well as a wide range of private label brands for retailers.

Job Requirements:

Job Title: Manufacturing Tech 3/Team Lead ( MT3)

Department: Operations

Reports to: Shift / Platform Manager

Purpose/Scope:

The Team Lead is responsible for all aspects of operating the line and maintaining processes within prescribed specifications and safety, quality, efficiency and waste standards. In addition, the Lead is responsible for providing leadership and training for all team members to allow them to perform their roles to the best of their ability.

Principle Accountabilities/Key Duties:
  • Personally adhere to and enforce compliance with all safety procedures, policies, and maintain good housekeeping standards of team members.
  • Identify and communicate problems or potential problems immediately.
  • Responsible for coordinating the effective execution of line changeovers.
  • Positively and constructively interact with line team and other team members.
  • Identify and arrange and/or provide training for line members as needed.
  • Anticipate needs and lead efforts in maintaining the machinery; process cleanup and routine maintenance.
  • Ensure daily paperwork is submitted accurately and on time.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities and obtain assistance when necessary.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and established process procedures.
  • Properly document process changes and troubleshooting steps.
  • Share responsibility for overall product quality on the line and for meeting quality goals.
  • Be able to perform and train all functions/positions needed to run the line as required.
  • Assist with the development of line improvement processes.
  • Assist with feedback relative to performance reviews.
  • Perform team wide meetings.
  • Familiar with staffing process; assist in staffing assigned line/team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED from an accredited department of education.
  • Must be able to meet all training requirements as outlined in the Skills Matrix and Job Classification Training Plan.
  • Work effectively with teams and individuals
  • Flexibility to work on any shift or line.

Preferred:
  • Post high school education and/or technical training.
  • Have prior experience working on multiple platforms.
  • Previous experience in a high speed manufacturing environment and/or on the job training.

Competencies:
  • Ability to effectively lead the work of others and train employees.
  • Ability to understand and provide detailed instructions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a periodic basis.
  • Must have full upper body mobility.
  • Must have the ability to stoop and maneuver around equipment to perform housekeeping, change over, and maintenance duties.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good team-building skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize duties/projects and appropriately handle multiple job tasks
  • Intermediate computer skills.
