Job Purpose

We are Hiring in Columbus, OH! We have an exciting opportunityfor a dynamicTalent Acquisition (TA) Partner who will ownand drivethe full cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection of internal and external top talent that meet AkzoNobel's business needs. While this position will be based at our Columbus facility, you will be part of a team that supports recruitment efforts for entry level non-exempt and experienced technical positions in ourmanufacturing, distribution centers and R&Dfacilities throughout the United Statesas well as exempt leadershiproles within our Regional Headquarters. Additionally, this role will build diversity networks through nontraditional sources to include nonprofit workforce development, community outreach, university center engagement, military recruitment and other creative methods to drive top candidates for volume recruitment.This position may also assist with TA activities for both Canada and Mexico.

Job Responsibilities

• Guide compensation discussions and coordinate with both the Human Resources Manager and the Hiring Manager to gain concurrence on base salary and other benefits such as STI,vacation variance and relocation
• Create employment offer letters on behalf of AkzoNobel
• Initiate Pre-Adverse and Adverse Action notices after advisement from facility HR Managers
• Support the Regional Talent Acquisition plan to ensure alignment with strategic Global objectives
• As part of the TA Center of Excellence, leverage recruitment expertise and knowledge of AkzoNobel's business and culture to promote our mission and values to ensure alignment withboth regional and global strategy
• Actively participate in local initiatives supporting Regional goals
• Drive the Talent Acquisition process and ensure compliance with regional policy and procedures
• Guide and coach Hiring Managers and Human Resources Managers on Talent Acquisition procedures and ensure adherence to the process
• Partner with facility Hiring Managers and Human Resources to set expectations to meet the evolving Talent needs within the North American region
• Lead discussions with Hiring Managers during employment offer negotiations to ensure alignment with Regional Compensation guidelines
• Proactively source and build diverse talent pipelines with qualified active and passive candidates
• Ensure candidates are provided with an excellent experience throughout the Talent Acquisition lifecycle
• Manage ATS entries, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Effectively promote AkzoNobel as an employer of choice within our markets
• Collaborate with managers to identify and define specific new hire requirements for their departments
• Conduct thorough preemployment screening on all candidates under consideration
• Meet specific quality and time based recruitment Key Performance Indicators and metrics
• Participate in weekly Talent Acquisition meetings to share best practices

Experience

  • 3+ years of full cycle recruitment experience required
  • 3+ years of ATS experience required. SAP SuccessFactors® preferred
  • Experience working with international cross functional teams preferred, but not required
  • Proven experience with indirect and direct sourcing methods
  • Intermediate knowledge of the LinkedIn and Indeed recruitment and resume sourcing platforms a plus
  • Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Title VII, FCRA and EEOC compliance regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both senior management and production teams
  • Ability to implement successful recruitment methods in rural markets
  • Willingness and ability to easily adapt to changes in process, new information and unexpected events
  • Ability to perform all functions of the position remotely

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
