Job Summary: Working closely with Talent Acquisition leadership and Hiring Leaders, the Talent Acquisition Consultant acts as a strategic business partner to understand WellStar Health System's staffing demand needs and develop a proactive, innovative assessment and recruitment strategies to attract and hire diverse, top talent. This individual delivers metrics necessary to achieve "best in class" talent acquisition. The team member serves as a consultant with assigned service line leadership and other areas of Human Resources to design/implement effective and creative recruitment plans. Providing recruitment services in a positive, timely, service oriented, cost efficient and effective manner developing strong relationships with key leaders is a primary responsibility for this role. This Talent Acquisition consultant develops an ongoing candidate relationship management program to effective pipeline and recruit candidates for volume applicant flow roles. This individual will be recognized as a leader and innovator in delivering a customer-centric and efficient candidate experience. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Strategic Business Partner Responsibilities - Consults with the Talent Acquisition Leadership and Hiring Leaders to understand WellStar's staffing demand, projected workforce needs and develop a proactive, innovative sourcing and recruitment strategy to identify, recruit, select and onboard the industry's top talent. - Consults with service line leaders to define short- and long-term staffing needs (based on succession planning, hiring forecast, expected/unexpected turnover and new program development). - Define needed metrics, qualitative information and client feedback to project vacancies in assigned service lines for each fiscal year. Regularly produces and share recruitment metrics for assigned client group on regular basis. - Develops and executes offer strategies in partnership with Compensation Department to ensure efficient and consistent implementation of compensation practices considering internal equity, labor market issues, implications for other departments and compensation policy. - Conducts one-on-one and group educational sessions with new and existing hiring leaders and WellStar team members related to talent acquisition processes, policies and procedures. - Conducts intake sessions with hiring leaders to gain thorough understanding and define each open position, set expectations and ensure alignment regarding key steps in the hiring process using service level agreement. - On quarterly basis, review key business indicators and work with WellStar staff, management, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team to identify, develop and deploy continuous improvement initiatives. 20% Talent Acquisition Responsibilities - Builds relationships and creates proactive candidate pipelines for current and future needs within lines of business supported. - Manages the qualification, screening, interview, selection and offer process while ensuring each candidate receives and exceptional candidate experience. Recommends top 3-5 candidates for hiring manager interviews. Participates in post interview debrief/feedback with interview teams to ensure selection of best candidate. - Responsible for executing a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment strategies including demand-based interviewing, to meet or exceed delivery service level agreements. - In conjunction with the Sourcing team, develops and implements recruitment strategies for assigned service lines and/or key jobs that identify sourcing activities, project recruitment costs and take into consideration other issues that impact ability to recruit and retain qualified staff including but not limited to: compensation and other labor market issues. - Utilizes technology tools to facilitate recruiting, hiring and on-boarding processes. Ensures that information is entered, maintained, current and accurate in Applicant Tracking System including but not limited to: job posting content, candidate tracking, anecdotal information and other required data. - Assist the Sourcing team in screening candidates, selection/interview process utilizing appropriate screening tools. - Utilize structured assessment techniques to assure candidates are qualified and interested in WellStar and the position. - Utilize behavioral based interview techniques to efficiently assess candidate competency and eliminate unqualified candidates as early as possible in the process. - Manages candidates who are referred by internal employees to ensure a positive candidate experience for referred candidates. 50% Regulatory Compliance - Accountable for the effective implementation of Talent Acquisition processes in accordance with policies, practices and regulatory requirements. - Assures job postings accurately reflect job requirements, including education, licensure/certification and experience levels. - Assists hiring leaders with interpretation and implementation of HR policies related to talent acquisition. - Maintains spreadsheets and data as appropriate to assure understanding of talent acquisition activity and results to best meet workforce needs of WellStar. 30% Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources or related field. Required or Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
  • Prof in Human Resources-Preferred or Sr Prof in Human Resources-Preferred or SHRM Certified Professional-Preferred or SHRM Sr Certified Professional-Preferred
Additional License(s) and Certification(s):Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 2 years plus years' experience recruiting top talent for "best-in-class" organizations, agencies or related experience Required or Minimum 5 years 5 years of experience in related field in absence of a degree Required Healthcare industry experience Preferred and Knowledge and application of Federal and State employment laws/regulations/legislation, affirmative action documentation and applicable data reporting. Required and Demonstrated experience with full-scope staffing including knowledge of sourcing efficiencies, candidate assessment techniques and job offer negotiation skills. Required and Knowledge, experience and training in utilizing structured candidate assessment methodologies (i.e. - behavioral based interviewing) for candidate selection or related experience, and job offer negotiation skills. Required and Experience with applicant tracking, CRM, HRIS, and/or customer tracking databases to manage data and candidate relationships. Required Required Minimum Skills: Strong organizational skills; high skill level in customer service; effective presentation skills. Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, establish service level agreements and meets and exceed customer expectations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing, listening, fact finding and problem solving. Ability to effectively build and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with management and all levels of staff. Ability to analyze using qualitative and quantitative information for decision support. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. Ability to influence hiring managers to move quickly in selection and offer stages to optimize the opportunity to hire top candidates. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
