Prologis is hiring a Tableau Developer to help build our next-generation data and analytics infrastructure. As a member of our Data and Analytics team, you will be a key team member working closely with our Tableau Architect to create business analytics and self-service. You will power the next wave of meaningful growth while also managing, maintaining, and operating our existing systems. In this position, you will work to maintain standards and guidelines for Tableau development, security frameworks, and code deployment. You will also be encouraged to assist other developers and business users who are located both in the Americas and abroad. The Tableau developer position is ideal for someone who is detailed oriented, a multi-tasker, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment pushing the traditional borders of analytics!

Here's how to do that:

• Be the specialist in Tableau domain development, assisting development teams with specific technical problems, recommend best-practice remediation, involvement with new feature testing and performance tuning with optimization for Tableau live connections.
• Lead data model reviews for Tableau use-cases and optimize pushdown for data processing to database. Lead Tableau code reviews and enablement.
• Maintain and improve visual standards and templates including Tableau Server Maintenance (Linux Server, TSM). Lead and handle application service, requiring writing scripts for automating Tableau tasks (tsm and tabcmd) with CI/CD pipeline automation. Support related activities include being able to capture log files and export SQL queries.
• Monitor Tableau usage patterns and respond to an ever-changing analytics landscape.
• Improve and maintain security documentation within Tableau, including maintaining and syncing group/user assignments. Establish security models to unify security across our tech stack and assist with the security audit process to validate active Tableau licenses.
• Work with Prologis DevOps supporting our code migration process, updating data source connection information, enabling export and import of Tableau metadata. Additionally, coordinate Tableau code migration initiatives.
• Provide education and technical troubleshooting to end-user assistance to optimize their use of Tableau. Develop and maintain technical and development standards documentation and enable self-service analytics.

• 5+ years of proven track record in IT or related field
• 2+ years of experience with Tableau development and administration
• High attention to detail and visual presentation (This is the data and analytics team!)
• Excellent organizational, time management, and influencing through data skills
• Good communicator and storyteller, engaging with your audience on a personal level
• Good at sorting out ambiguity
• Experienced SQL skills
• Data Modeling experience preferred

Hiring Salary Range of: $100,000-$122,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's locations, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
