Description

Position Overview:

Analyze, Implement, and support new process improvement technology for the delivery and warehouse operations. Identify system enhancements and project ROI analysis with innovative technology.

This position may require flexible hours as required in support of the department's objectives and will be required to travel infrequently.

Key Accountabilities:
• Upgrade delivery and return process to full inventory scanning capabilities
• Support business growth with possible full WMS capabilities
• Work closely with delivery and warehouse management to identify and support modern technology
• Support current and future payroll systems
• Work with routing and warehouse managers to ensure proper workflow
• Support in cab routing and delivery software and hardware needs for complete driver and customer view
• System upgrades and maintenance
• Data analyst
• Loss Prevention management
• Workers Comp internal management

Additional Responsibilities:
• Assist with new system training for both union and management associates
• Maintain necessary records of training as required
• Work closely with the safety manager to support all safety initiatives.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Strong project management skills
• Proficient in Excel, word, PowerPoint, access, WMS and payroll systems
• In-depth knowledge of Transportation routing and warehouse systems
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to provide effective, hands-on training

Education/Experience/Training:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or Supply Chain
• Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain.
