The Drives Systems Engineer is responsible for all technical work with respect to projects and services provided to our customers. You will be vital in using your creativity and technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, install, commission and implement coordinated variable frequency drive (VFD) controls systems solutions for our customers. In this role, you will be working with the engineering team and interfacing with customers while providing engineering, service and support. Usually, 20 to 40% of the time is onsite at a variety of customer locations.
What You Will Be Doing -Meet the requirements for all projects (schedule, specs, quality requirements)
-Partner with Control Systems Designers, Project Managers, and Technical Leads for proper completion of these projects
-Communicate updates to our customers
-Rotating the handling of after hours emergency calls
-Prepare solutions, budgets, bids, and estimates alongside the sales team
