About the Position

We are seeking an Engineer II to join our growing Structural team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 2 years of related experience. The successful candidate would be mentored by our dynamic team of experienced design professionals while supporting/leading a range of multidisciplinary projects. The successful candidate would also interface with clients and support proposal development.

About Our Team

Our Structural team is engaged in projects throughout the southeast, the nation, and the world and our existing client base includes transportation, oil and gas, renewables, government (local, state, and federal), Department of Defense, private development, and water resources and restoration. The successful candidate would be an integral part of our growing team and would have the opportunity to engage across markets and geographies.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Experienced in the design of structures in concrete, steel, wood and concrete masonry
• Working knowledge of latest building codes including ASCE 7, IBC, ACI, AISC, NDS and others.
• Ability to write site visit reports and assessments

Qualifications:

• BS in Civil/structural, MS desired
• Minimum two years of experience
• Engineer in Training certification required.
• Proficient with relevant software such as Revit, RISA, Enercalc, TEDS and Microsoft Office platform.
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.
• Experience in the Energy Field a plus.
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
