Better requires process discipline and simplification

In this role, you will be responsible to plan, design, implement and maintenance for deployment of enterprise-wide cloud-based and on-prem payment platform. You will have a working knowledge of cloud and other architecture disciplines including application, database, and infrastructure. In this role you will work with engineering, cloud-ops and enterprise architecture team to define and build out complex solutions driving value through business process simplification, automation and new product capabilities and innovations. In addition, support a research and development function within your team to explore new and innovative technology solutions, provide engineering studies and make recommendation to enhance Cloud platform.

For this role, you will have a Bachelor's in Engineering or a Bachelor's in technology and a Master's in Computer Application, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with 6+ years of industry experience including 4+ years of DevOps experience on public cloud such as AWS or Google. You will have experience with Infrastructure design concepts, capacity planning and strong cloud knowhow and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners. You will have strong experience in designing and managing the release pipeline in cloud and on-prem and experience with hybrid enterprise platform. You will have strong experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Fargate, Docker, Kubernetes and drive continuous process improvements. You will have an excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, API, GIT flows, microservices architecture as well as hands-on experience in JAVA/J2EE technologies, XML, Web Services, authentication, and certificate management. You will have experience with SAFe Agile framework methodologies knowledge with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery) and maintaining high availability production and non-prod systems

Annual base salary gross: $104,938.00 - $184,620.00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
