*Job Salary: * $200k - $230k + 20% Bonus + Stock

Based in Sunnyvale, CA, we are a global technology leader in minimally invasive care and the pioneer of robotic-assisted surgery. We bring more than two decades of leadership in robotic-assisted surgical technology and solutions. We are looking for a Senior or Staff level Embedded Software Engineer to join our team!

Must have 10+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer with TCP/IP networking experience. Knowledge in IoT, Medical Devices, and/or Smart Devices is a HUGE plus!

What You Will Be Doing - Design and development of product-focused software in an embedded environment
- Development of research prototypes used to evaluate new product concepts
- Distributed communication subsystem development
- Work on a cross functional team to develop technical specifications and evaluate design trade-offs specifically in platform software
What You Need for this Position *Must Have Skills: *
1.) 10+ years of experience with embedded systems
2.) C/C++ development experience
3.) Networking experience (TCP/IP)
5.) BS/MS/PhD Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science

*Nice to have skills: *
1.) Knowledge of IoT
2.) Medical Device experience (Familiar with FDA & ISO regulations are a huge plus!)
3.) Robotics and/or smart device experience
4.) Familiar with Yocto and/or QNX
