Operating in over 70 treatment centers in multiple states, our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person and, in so doing, address the underlying causes of OUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.

Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for general ledger entry of financial information, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis of the income statement, as well as support to the Finance Department managers on special projects and analysis.

Essential Functions:

• Actively participates in month-end closing by posting journal entries, and compiling and analyzing financial information in order to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Performs monthly detailed balance sheet reconciliations and analysis by providing explanations to monthly trends.
• Records, monitors, and proposes monthly accruals.
• Develops and distributes reports monitoring in order to maintain accountability for CMGLP clinics' cash and sales transactions.
• Assists management in identifying clinic operational inefficiencies and non-compliance with company policy and developing best practices.
• Assists in building vendor relations and subsequent negotiations as appropriate, including but not limited to, preparation and coordination of Request for Proposals.
• Works independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects.
• Assists Accounting Manager with the training and professional development of the Junior Accountant.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree Required

Required Knowledge: Proficiency in Methasoft, Microsoft Office products, and data management as well as an understanding of clinic operations.

Experience Required: 3-5 years of accounting and general ledger experience.

Skill and Ability: Ability to work with both clinical and administrative personnel.

Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines.

Good communicator (oral and written) including the desire to ask questions and learn from co-workers.

Strong administrative and data management skills.

Ability to raise issues proactively and in a timely manner.

Excellent customer service skills.
