Location: Dallas, TX
Description: The Judge Groups is seeking a Staff Accountant for a USDA food manufacturer in Dallas, TX. This person will work closely with the Controller and be responsible for account reconciliations, journal entries and general ledger accounting.
- Ensure accurate and timely distribution of financial and management reports
- Prepare and post journal entries into general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Assist with financial-related special projects
- Document and calculate accruals
- Create and communicate external audit support to various auditors throughout the years
- Other duties as needed
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Document analysis
- General ledger
- Customer service
- Organization/Attention to detail
- Time management
- Degree preferred
- Manufacturing experience
- 3+ yrs relevant work experience
