Ledgent Accounting and Finance has partnered with a growing manufacturer and media company based near Torrance and is actively seeking an Staff Accountant to join their team! This is a great opportunity to join a team-oriented work environment and offers growth opportunity!

Qualifications:

• AA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have Sage 100.
• Must have experience in working in sales, inventory, or light assembly environment.
• Full cycle Accounts Payable/Receivable, inventory, and payroll.

Day to day:

• Daily invoicing
• Sending daily invoicing to customers
• Process credit card payments
• Processes Cash receipts
• Credit cards statements
• Daily collections by calling and emailing past due customers
• General office such as scanning, filing, copying, and matching checks to invoices, etc.
• Process biweekly payroll
• Process all incoming payables
• Allocate W/C Insurance and health insurance
• File sales tax returns, monthly or quarterly (as required) for CA, IL, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX, WI, and MA.
• Receives inventory into SAGE. Adjust inventory as needed based on defective items, review, and update invoices
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Reviewing inventory issues and bill of material issues
• Set up necessary wires for review and issue payments
