Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate role opening for a Staff Accountant in Hampton, NH. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in debits/credits and have a working knowledge in Cost Accounting.

Role: Staff Accountant (Direct Hire)

Location: Hampton, NH (Hybrid)

Pay: $68,000-$76,000 (Plus Bonus)

Job Duties:

• Responsible for daily accounting activities for multiple locations

• Daily accounting activities related to debits and credit entries.

• Preparation of complete/accurate journal entries

• Account reconciliation.

• Assist with preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

• Work with accruals and depreciation of assets.

• Assist with quarter/year-end audit.

• Assist with preparation of corporate budget.

Qualifications:

• MS Excel skills (V-lookups/Pivot Tables)

• Working knowledge in accruals, depreciation, and financial reporting

• Cost Accounting experience preferred (not required)

• Prior experience working with state regulatory agencies (preferred but not required)
