JOB LOCATION: Chicago, IL
POSITION: Senior Security Engineer
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Develop and execute Threat and Vulnerability Management Program - review environment for vulnerability exposure and emerging threats, identifying trends, ensuring vulnerabilities are appropriately remediated; Conduct Risk assessment on vendors, applications and vulnerabilities; Develop appropriate remediation to support regulatory and operational modifications necessary to maintain a safe and sound environment; Participate and support the Incident Response Plan including the delivery of tabletop exercises; Support the IT Security Advisory function through collaboration with different business units providing security analysis on projects, documenting and communicating requirements and recommendations, and monitoring compliance through the development lifecycle;Collaborate with IT teams in application development, IT operations and business partners to educate on the risks and appropriate actionable steps to resolve vulnerability exposures; Implement, manage, and develop Vulnerability Management tools and processes using Nexpose and Qualys; Manage Antivirus, Firewall and other Security Operations tools and technologies such as Symantec, PaloAlto Firewall, Crowdstrike platform and security awareness tools like Wombat and Knowbe4; Use Tableau for Data Visualizations and reports to stakeholders; Consult on Threats and perform Risk Assessment on vulnerabilities, vendors and applications using tools such as BitSight, IntSights.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics and/or Communications Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent degree. 5 yrs related experience. Required skills: Implement, manage, and develop Vulnerability Management tools and processes using Nexpose and Qualys (4 yrs); Manage Antivirus, Firewall and other Security Operations tools and technologies such as Symantec, PaloAlto Firewall, Crowdstrike platform and security awareness tools like Wombat and Knowbe4 (5 yrs); Use Tableau for Data Visualizations and reports to stakeholders (3 yrs); Consult on Threats and perform Risk Assessment on vulnerabilities, vendors and applications using tools such as BitSight, IntSights (5 yrs).
Full time. $121,139 - $130,000/year. Competitive compensation and benefits.
