Job Description Summary:
The PayPal Fraud Consumer Risk Product team is at the forefront identifying and build fraud protection into all PP consumer products to keep hundreds of millions of PayPal and Venmo users secure and engaged. Together, we are accountable to build risk platform and product experiences that detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud risk in real time across all PP consumer products and payment flows. We are looking for a new Consumer Fraud Risk Product Manager.

Job Description:

A successful candidate will have an some background in launching software or services, technical background or experience driving technical products, , and a passion for great customer-centric online products

• Experience of relevant work in technical product management, owning and driving end-to-end product requirements across multiple technology teams

•Experience in payments or retail or financial services industry as technical product manager

•Passion for technology, willingness to dive deep into the technical products PP s building, and commitment to learning and expanding technical knowledge

•Experience partnering with Data Scientists and/or Machine learning engineers

•An understanding of large-scale systems and service-oriented architecture

•Fraud, Risk, Payments, Identity/Account protection background added plus

• Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders

•Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and convincingly to a wide range of audiences

•Demonstrated experience in analyzing large datasets and developing dashboards to derive insights

•Comfortable with SQL or a programming language

Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team

•High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

• Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience. Barriers to entry may require committee review.
