Job Summary: Working in conjunction with a Supervisor and/or Global Dealer Learning (GDL) team, this role will provide direction and execution regarding building dealer Sales Performance and Leadership (for Sales & Service ) capabilities thru learning solutions. The role will enable active communication for increased district and dealer awareness and participation in successful programs and evaluate new opportunities.

Development consultant activities include project leadership of cross-functional team focused on global solutions related to design and deployment of learning, change management, learning impact and engagement, learning technology, competency design, and learning recognition.

This role will also support promotion of Sales and Leadership offering, provide project leadership for vendor learning development, manage vendors agreements and invoicing, and provide administration support for vendor partner programs. This included management and expansion of existing learning programs such as Flagship and Rutgers MCP.

Additional responsibilities may include the ability to deliver instructor-led training and support the development of internal and external training instructors.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with process owners, GDL workforce development consultants, and external vendors to develop and implement dealer Sales Performance and Leadership (for Sales & Service) learning solutions.
  • Participate in research or benchmarking of internal and external best practices related to organizational learning, with emphasis on Sales Performance and Leadership learning solutions.
  • Achieve project goals by leading or participating on projects as a team member or learning design and deployment subject matter expert.
  • Requires ability to pull together observations, ideas and issues into clear presentations and strategies.
  • Utilize, monitor and continuously improve products, services and processes used for working with our customers.
  • Influence decision makers with the support of supervisor and peers to maximize learning effectiveness to achieve business results.
  • Assist with on-boarding new team members with support of supervisor or peers.
  • Develop, implement, and conduct learning programs to maximize sales performance and leadership effectiveness. Measure and maximize training effectiveness and communicate the impact to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Research and analyze new learning methods to determine feasibility of use and application in future programs.
  • Ensure training programs reflect both the current product / industry mix and business strategy.
  • Provide consultancy to customers and stakeholders about capability building aligned to sales and service goals.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Training Operations: Knowledge of training processes and procedures; ability to implement training related tasks and programs to ensure smooth daily and strategic training operations.

Consideration For Top Candidates:
  • A four-year degree and Masters (or MBA) in a related HR or Learning-related field is desired or four or more years of progressive experience in Learning and Instruction
