We are looking for a Sr Manufacturing Lead who will join our Assembly team in Temecula, CA.

• Starting pay of $30.00/hr+ paid biweekly
  
• 2nd Shift: 3p-11p
  

Our Sr Manufacturing Lead will oversee, monitor, and coordinate the shift molding, and assembly operations.

What you'll do in this role:

• Oversees Assembly and Molding Operations during assigned shift, including monitoring layouts and activities to ensure maximum efficiencies and compliance with quality assurance. Communicates effectively pass down information to other shifts. Assists Production Supervisor in coordinating scheduled and non-scheduled production lines' changes for the shift. Ensures effective utilization of indirect labor, FIFO of components, and good housekeeping practices.
  
• Assists Production Supervisor with ensuring the provision of a safe work environment for associates by monitoring safety practices and assessing and eliminating hazards.
  
• Assists Production Supervisor in communicating priorities to other departments and shifts. Assists in coordinating activities with other department and shifts.
  
• Coordinates training in the following areas: providing assistance and instruction in proper assembly and sorting methods; ensures all SOP's are updated and utilized; assists with process lead development and the orientation of new associates. Ensures compliance with safety, work instructions, and quality trainings. Assists Production Supervisor in maintaining effective communication with department associates to include performance metrics and associate recognition, recommends/participates in disciplinary reviews of associates with Production Supervisor.
  
• Completion of required paperwork, reports, and administration of timekeeping.
  
• Coordinates the rotation of associates throughout the different stations in the molding and assembly department during the shift.
  

What you'll need to be successful:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  
• Associate's Degree or any equivalent combination of training and expertise which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred.
  
• Three years experience in a leadership role in a high volume and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  
• Working knowledge of manufacturing and management techniques including: Continuous Improvement, Preventive Maintenance, Pull System, Single Piece Flow, Kaizen, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, Team Building.
  
• Excellent communication skills. Must lead and communicate clearly verbally and in writing. Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish is required.
  
• Demonstrates good decision making abilities and judgment.
  
• Ability to direct, counsel, and motivate associates.
  
• Must possess strong computer skills (Gmail, Microsoft Office 2010 - including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Access-).
  
• Ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment.
  
• Demonstrates ability to run the shift effectively without direct supervision on a regular basis.
  
• Ability to develop and deliver reports on manufacturing efficiencies, cost of quality rework and down time.
