The Sr. Manager, Special Projects is responsible for managing strategic and clinical initiatives within DaVita's Clinical Enterprise CKD Innovation team. Chronic Kidney Disease management is a rapidly evolving field, and the team is expanding to support the growth of value based contracts and patients under management. The CKD Innovation team is accountable for creating innovative and industry-leading patient engagement strategies, collaborative workflows with nephrology practices, and clinical and operational processes and tools that delay and manage disease progression.

This position will work on high priority initiatives in a rapidly growing strategic business unit by collaborating with a cross-functional team of clinical, operating, and business leaders across DaVita. This position plays a key role as a thought partner, internal consultant, and project executor, evolving innovative care models for CKD patients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

CKD Strategy and Innovation

  • Work with leadership to develop and maintain the CKD innovation roadmap, including patient engagement, nephrology collaboration, and care team processes and workflows.
  • Partner with analytics teams to identify and conduct new analysis, and to turn insights into actionable deliverables that further enhance our care model.
  • Think strategically about business responses to changing market conditions (e.g. innovation, competitive threats, etc.)
  • Convey CKD clinical innovation strategy in a cohesive story for internal stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate across all levels of management

Program Design & Strategic Project Management

  • Manages and drives strategic and clinical initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams of clinical, operational, and senior business leadership
  • Develops and communicates project scope, timeline, plan, resource requirements, and assumptions
  • Creates, implements, and drives adoption of processes and solutions to further clinical and business outcomes
  • Communicates project status updates and needs to senior leadership; prepares, reports, and manages against targets/goals including scope, schedule, metrics, and revenue

Business Support for Leadership

  • Supports CKD Innovation leadership in managing goal tracking, scorecards, project portfolio management, business reviews, and supporting projects
  • Partners with Vice President to design executive communication, facilitate meetings, and manage relationships with key internal and external strategic partners, including vendors

Salary/ Wage Range

$75,200.00 to $110,400.00

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
