JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing and verifying material quantities and cost estimates.

Responsible for developing and verifying material quantities and cost estimates.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Work related, tools/equipment, software, etc.)
- Complete estimates of costs and quantities of residential products using BlackPoint 3d models utilizing comparative and differential estimating techniques
- Develop committed quantity and cost estimates for both new product development and non-standard options
- Assist with all applicable databases (PurchasePro, DMT, etc.) used in developing the cost and quantity estimates
- Complete necessary customer option estimates
- Provide completed estimates to purchasing agents and category managers
- Check all completed estimates through field verifications (First Build VEIII, etc) focusing on accurate quantities
- Assist in providing take-off / field verification support
- Follow Pulte business processes for supplier management
- Coordinate with Division purchasing personnel and trade partners as needed
- Communicate assigned project schedules weekly with Director of Product
