Join our client as a Senior Director of Development and take the lead in shaping direct response strategies across various channels. Among other responsibilities, you'll craft and execute revenue-generating plans, cultivating donor engagement and loyalty while positioning development as a tool for activism and education. With your expertise in fundraising, donor relations, and budget management, you'll drive impactful campaigns that propel our mission forward. About the Job:

• Create strategic campaigns that will utilize various traditional and digital channels.
• Develop and execute individual and major gift fundraising, along with event sponsorship and government grant strategies to elevate donor engagement and gifts.
• Collaborate with leadership and the Communications and Marketing teams to craft campaigns and messaging in alignment with the organization's mission.
• Utilize data and reports to analyze donorship and identify opportunities for engaging new audiences.
• Research, implement, and stay abreast of current fundraising trends to attract new donors and encourage planned giving opportunities.

About You:

• 5+ years of proven well-rounded fundraising experience is required; a bachelor's degree is required.
• CFRE fundraising certification or eligibility to obtain this ceritication within the first two years of employment
• Proven track record in prospecting and securing donors to ensure ability to implement successful campaign strategies.
• Experience in cultivating and managing governmental relationships for grants, as well as overseeing and tracking budgets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce is preferred.

About the Position:

• $85K-$90K (DOE) with an annual discretionary bonus.
• Competitive benefits package, including 100% paid health insurance.
• Hybrid office schedule of of 2-3 days/week onsite.
• Office located in Arlington, VA.
