Job Description
SENIOR DATA ENGINEER - REMOTE
The Select Group is currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join one of their TOP healthcare/biotechnology clients for a REMOTE opportunity. The Select Group's client is seeking to help people improve physical and mental health by creating a new category of products that target the microbiome and are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to develop, release, and maintain production data architecture and services

SENIOR DATA ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years' of hands-on experience developing data warehouses and pipelines, e.g., Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT
• 3+ years' professional software development experience
• 1+ years' experience in AWS, GCP or Azure environment

PLUS SKILLS:

• Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow or Luigi
• Experience with Docker, Linux, Make, Bash
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, Batch

SENIOR DATA ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, release, and maintain company-wide data sources, pipelines, and services
• Work with a team of engineers to develop and support corporate data warehouse in Snowflake and Redshift with technologies such as fivetran and DBT
• Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to implement continuous testing processes
• Identify and resolve data integrity issues and maintain and create new data integrations
• Learn and teach valuable techniques and principles through code and analysis reviews
• Proactively engage users to understand and address their ongoing and future needs
