We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. CWMD Planning & Exercise Analyst to join our talented team. ** This position is contingent upon award/funding**

Position Description:

The Contractor shall provide analytical, technical, and administrative support for day-to-day activities to include CWMD planning and operational expertise, organizational policy and planning development and project/program support, and technical support specific to each of the CCMD's respective regions, to include information, advice, alternative analysis, evaluations and recommendations.

In this role you will...

  • Provide joint planning support for campaign and contingency plans to counter and deter WMD and emerging WMD threats, including: countering WMD; counter proliferation; pathway defeat; nuclear deterrence and employment; and theater conventional nuclear integration/conventional support to nuclear operations methodologies and related expertise to the CCMDs, the Joint Staff (JS), and other DoD Components.
  • Responsible for monitoring and receiving emerging DoD doctrine/guidance and requirements and providing insight.
  • Ability to apply operational insights and user perspective to receive, analyze, validate, and assign responsibility for new requirements and track previously validated requirements; coordinate and validate with internal and/or external stakeholders, by analyzing those requirements against plans, guidance, and Agency priorities.
  • Utilize methodology to validate requirements via a standardized process.
  • Ensure the quality of the program, project or task deliverable meets the established standards or metrics; brief and lead requirement teams.
Experience Requirements:
  • 10+ years (MS/BS) in Engineering, Information Systems, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other technical degree
  • Knowledgeable of military requirements supporting major initiatives; tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise.
  • Knowledge of warfare systems and processes; knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting military and joint military based operations.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional experience is preferred.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Current DOD Top Secret/SCI Clearance is required
Other Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative
  • Ability to produce a high level work product requiring minimal supervision
