The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst's role is expected to develop and establish quality assurance standards within the organization. This individual will also gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This will include adhering project to testing lifecycle, for tracking defects and for fixes in software application development, information systems, and operations systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test Strategy and Planning
Review requirements and design documents to ensure adequate understanding to develop test plans, test scenarios and test cases
Creates and executes test cases to ensure appropriate test coverage
Mine for data, backend validation, and perform data quality analysis via SQL
Recommend improvements and/or corrections to developers for
Test Project Management and Coordination
Estimate effort required to perform all QA activities assigned
Lead distributed teams at projects level
Lead multiple projects from QA perspective
Lead defect triage meetings
Other duties as assigned.
Active participation in project ceremonies and lead as necessary
Provide recommendations and lead (as applicable) to streamline and improve processes
Coordinate and communicate with Project resources across the distributed teams to complete assigned projects
Operational Management
Document status and final reports for QA activities
Document and lead risks mitigation plans during project lifecycle
Troubleshoots and resolves or recommends solutions to a diverse range of complex software testing problems. Uses judgment within defined policies and practices (includes software and technical documentation solutions)
Assist with UAT as needed for data creation
QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced knowledge Agile, Waterfall and Iterative frameworks
Advanced knowledge of test management best practices
Advanced knowledge with Test Management and Automation tools
Hands-on DB testing experience with one or more DB platforms
3+ year of healthcare domain knowledge
Minimum 6 years of relevant QA experience with multiple release cycles
Ability to have good understanding of system components and their integrations (Preferred)
Experience and skills in mentoring co-workers
Ability to lead multiple projects
Experience with leading distributed teams
Demonstrated strengths in coordinating, attention-to-detail, follow-through, reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Possesses project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
Knowledge of Performance and Automation Testing practices
Possess strong people and communication skills

Salary/Wage Range
$68,400 - $100,400
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
