Position Summary

Reporting into the Senior Director, Global HR Technology, the Senior HR Data Informatics Analyst administers the HR analytics technologies using a variety of internal and external data sources and flexing across the HCM and other platforms. They analyze complex business problems and issues by identifying and interpreting trends and patterns to identify causes. They create specifications for reports, dashboards and analysis ensuring that the analytical capabilities meet existing and new business needs while applying the appropriate business analysis and project management skills. They maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in the reporting/analytics space and make relevant recommendations.

The Senior HR Data Informatics Analyst is responsible for the development and maintenance of standard reports, ad hoc reports, dashboards, visualizations and related documentation and training for end-users while ensuring the appropriate security model is in place to safeguard and protect employee data from unauthorized or inappropriate use. They develop, maintain and support all reporting related to US compliance reporting (e.g. EEO, AA, OFCCP, etc.), SOX testing and internal/external auditing for HR Data globally. They stay informed with legislative and regulation changes related to data and coordinates with the appropriate HR systems support teams in the US and internationally to keep the HCM compliant.

The Senior HR Data Informatics Analyst supports the HR Employee Data Management governance model; ensures documentation related to the global and country-specific data models are accurately implemented and maintained; audits data to identify errors and/or deficiencies; proactively utilizes reporting tools to identify data integrity issues and determines the appropriate approach to ensure employee and company structure data elements are updated correctly; understands data privacy and protection requirements and works with Information Security and relevant Data Protection Officer (DPO) resources as needed to ensure global compliance.

The Senior HR Data Informatics Analyst supports and assists with HCM administrative and shared services support functions as needed, including HCM-related implementation initiatives, mergers & acquisition-related integrations, HCM updates and upgrades, configuration changes, data integrations, data imports, and other related activities.

Principal Responsibilities

• Utilize ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading) to source and manipulate data from multiple sources to build/maintain the HR Data Warehouses
• Continuously manage, evaluate, and respond to business needs to develop, automate and enhance standard reports, ad hoc reports, dashboards, visualizations, templates, and scorecards
• Develop and interpret reports for simple to complex scope initiatives which clearly indicates key workforce status and trends
• Perform data profiling to identify, understand and resolve anomalies
• Prepare and execute presentations to all levels of leadership
• Support all compliance-related reporting including government reporting, SOX testing, internal and external auditing
• Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data
• Continuously aware of emerging trends and benchmarks, technologies, and standards in the reporting/analytics space and makes appropriate recommendations
• Supports the implementation of approved data analysis methodologies
• Share administration responsibilities of the global HCM platform, including implementations, updates and upgrades, monitoring the roadmap, proposing changes, designing dashboards, and implementing analytic capabilities for optimal system utilization
• Independently organize and manage data to achieve business needs efficiently
• Ensure HCM data model integrity through documentation and regular data audits
• Ability to identify cause/effect relationships and root-cause issues and identify opportunities for efficiencies
• Integrate disparate data from various systems and tools
• Occasional travel
• Deliver technology solutions blending process effectiveness and positive user experience to drive strong business results
• Ongoing awareness of industry trends around reporting/analytics/visualization resources and tools
• Push the bar on competencies and performance to improve customer satisfaction and experience
• Ability to manage and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• 5+ years' experience with technology platforms (HR systems preferred), analytics and processes
• Analytics/Reporting/Visualization tools (i.e., SAP SuccessFactors Canvas Reporting, Reporting Stories and Workforce Analytics; SAP Business Objects; SAP Analytics Cloud; Microsoft PowerBI; Qlik, Tableau, etc.)
• Database tools (i.e. SQL, Microsoft Access, etc.)
• Basic understanding of computer programming/scripting (i.e. Java/Java Scripting, Groovy Scripting, Python, etc.) preferred
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and related systems preferred or other similar Human Capital Management platforms

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Technical skills in the domain of systems and data architecture and management, ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading)
• Structured Query Language (SQL) development skills (i.e. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle PL-SQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Business Intelligence, analytics, visualization, and reporting tools
• Business Analysis (requirement gathering) skills with a strong bias towards User Experience
• Ability to work with confidential materials and employee information in a professional manner
• Strong and engaging presentation skills, ability to conduct live training

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to drive collaboration, responsiveness, and cross-functionality along with customer service within the organization and customer base
