8-4:30 Monday through Friday. This position does include a weekend and holiday rotation.
About The Job
This individual is responsible to plan and implement habilitative/rehabilitative programs for individuals who exhibit speech/language/swallowing problems.
What We Are Looking For
Education:
- Master's degree in the area of Speech/Language Pathology
- Must have demonstrated competence in an acute patient care setting for at least one year CFY supervision is available for those with no experience
- Current licensure from the Iowa Department of Public Health
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is desirable.
- Special aptitudes include tact, understanding and compassion and ability tocommunicate well with other professionals, patients and their families, both verbal andwritten.
