Hours:

8-4:30 Monday through Friday. This position does include a weekend and holiday rotation.

About The Job

This individual is responsible to plan and implement habilitative/rehabilitative programs for individuals who exhibit speech/language/swallowing problems.

What We Are Looking For

Education:
  • Master's degree in the area of Speech/Language Pathology
Experience:
  • Must have demonstrated competence in an acute patient care setting for at least one year CFY supervision is available for those with no experience
Special Skills and Competencies:
  • Current licensure from the Iowa Department of Public Health
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is desirable.
  • Special aptitudes include tact, understanding and compassion and ability tocommunicate well with other professionals, patients and their families, both verbal andwritten.
