Windows Server Administrator

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windows Server Administrator with expertise in AWS Cloud Computing to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Windows Server infrastructure while leveraging AWS cloud services to enhance scalability, reliability, and security.

We will count on you to.

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments in both physical and virtualized environments.
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of Windows Server infrastructure.
• Implement and manage Active Directory services, including user and group administration, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and security policies.
• Manage Windows Server security, including patch management, antivirus, firewall configuration, and access controls.
• Plan and execute server migrations, upgrades, and system updates while minimizing downtime and disruptions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues and ensure seamless integration with other systems and services.
• Implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 storage, IAM roles, VPC configurations, and other AWS services as needed.
• Configure and optimize AWS services for high availability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency.
• Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions for Windows Server and AWS environments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, best practices, and trends in Windows Server administration and AWS cloud computing.

What you need to have?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Windows Server Administrator, with strong expertise in managing Windows Server environments (2008/2012/2016/2019).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud computing services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and DNS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or XenServer.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory services, including domain controllers, LDAP, and Kerberos authentication.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and task automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other relevant certifications are a plus.
