What you will do:

CyberArk is looking for a competitive, energetic, and focused Solutions Engineer, Strategic Accounts to be based on the East Coast. The Solutions Engineer, Strategic Accounts will partner with the Account Executive, helping to enable sales engagements into a set of large strategic accounts. You will play a key role in navigating complex accounts in order to generate and deliver winning proposals, statements of work, and RFI/RFP responses. You will also help manage the technical relationship with CyberArk's customers, including delivering product and solution briefings, and proof of concept work. You must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, help qualify business opportunities, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers. It is business critical to meet and exceed sales quotas working together with the account team to develop and implement strategic account plans targeting enterprise-wide deployments of the CyberArk Identity Security Platform.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven record of accomplishment in relevant vendor software sales or encompass knowledge of similar technologies. You must be comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. You must possess strong presentation skills, be organized and analytical, and able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

Your Impact:

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers working with the combined Account Team, in conjunction with key partner and advisory firms, aligning with larger customer initiatives.
  • Discover security challenges within assigned accounts, determine how they relate to CyberArk's Blueprint practices, and incorporate them into the account plan.
  • Architect and propose validated CyberArk solutions which address identified security challenges previously discovered within customer environments.
  • Coordinate activities between customers and internal product teams for new product/new feature introduction to the market.
  • Support relevant activities to ensure ongoing customer happiness and adoption.
  • Ongoing learning and self-education in relevant technologies that CyberArk solutions rely on and integrate with to maintain or advance technical skills.
  • Partner with internal teams to understand competitive differentiators and effectively position CyberArk to win against our top competitors.
  • Act as the customer advocate for issues that may require technical assistance, working with technical support until the issue is resolved.

How you will stand out from the crowd:
  • MIS/Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Strong management and administration experience with Directory Services (LDAP, AD, Federation, Bridging), Identity and Access Management solutions, Identity Governance solutions and platform support (Windows, Linux, databases, network)
  • Experience with IaaS/PaaS administration and support within cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) are highly desirable
  • Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to build and presenthigh qualityproduct demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple levels to work cross organizationally toward solutions; excellent leadership and consensus building skills
  • An understanding of security concepts and the development of security roles within organizations that meet functional, technical, and regulatory requirements
  • Industry recognized certifications are highly desirable(i.e. CISSP, CEH)
  • Ability to travel up to 35% as needed when safe to do so
  • Prior experience with CyberArk Software solutions is preferred or relevant experience with enterprise applications, security management, systems management, identity management, and/or policy management solutions preferred especially in the Identity and Privileged access space
