National Firm based in the Cary, NC area is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join them. This position is remote to start but would require onsite.

Responsibilities:


Capable of taking a highly technical problem and designing a solution around it
Leads requirement analysis, detailed design, and verification activities for a product or solution
Provide leadership to V&V team members and manage V&V efforts on individual R&D projects
Primary accountability for major element of a project, determines all tasks that are required, and is responsible for project outcome
Proactively determines measures of success for project, product, and process quality within project teams
Conducts test planning, development of test tools, and oversees execution of test processes
Designs, develops and/or directs research and tests to validate effect and consequences of designs, process or product enhancements across projects and/or products
Conducts System and Integration Testing
Work closely with development teams to review design inputs for accuracy, clarity, and testability
Develop and maintain DHF documentation relating to test records, results, and issue observations
Identifies technical problems, provides innovative, creative solutions; shares technical knowledge with team
Generates alternatives and takes reasonable risks while solving technical problems
Other duties may be assigned


Qualifications:

 


3+ years working in cross functional teams consisting of discipline specific engineers, or comparable experience
1+ years of experience working in an Agile team
Strong organizational and planning skills a must
Proficient problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to change
Demonstrated ability to work multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
Strong experience with test case design of various test types and execution required
Experience in Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution Analysis & Reporting
Experience working within an Agile environment is essential
Familiarity with medical devices or healthcare applications is a plus
Experience working in a regulated environment is desired
Excellent troubleshooting capabilities are a must
Expertise in one or more of the following technical areas desired:
Performance and stress testing
Test automation (with a focus on Mobile automation)
Testing systems in a Linux hosted environment
Working with web services and APIs
Experience with Kubernetes
Testing cloud applications
Programming experience in C#
