RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Software Engineer in Kansas City, MO.Summary:The Software Engineer works under the guidance of a Technical Lead and manager in writing and testing quality code in an agile environment. You will develop software using agile practices, interact with internal and external customers and take part in different phases of software development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop quality solutions as a member of an agile development team
• Work with the Business Analysts to determine the best solution to a given problem
• Create and maintain application documentation (Run Procedures, API Definitions, Installation Instructions)
• Modernize existing legacy applications, writing production ready code using software development best practices
• Research and recommend solutions to difficult technical and business problems
• Help triage, troubleshoot, and support applications

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of college degree in Computer Science or commensurate industry experience preferred
• 4+ years of enterprise-level, full-stack development experience using Microsoft stack technologies like .NET framework, .NET Core, MVC, C#
• 4+ years of enterprise level, full-stack development experience with relational database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience in C# or other .NET programming
• Experience in Oracle, SQL Server, or comparable database programming
• Experience developing Cloud native solutions
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins
• Able to think critically, logically, and independently
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies and processes
• Test, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or other advanced testing techniques
• Effective written and verbal communication
• OLTP experience
• ETL experience
• Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus
• Scrum, Kanban, SAFe experience is a plus
• Angular experience is a plus
